Celebrity Rehab is isn't but it is now a longer rehab program (3 months?)and apparently the staff are great. The option of staying in your local area for recovery is preferable so points for that as well - Manly recovery community is a particularly strong one with loads of peer and family support if you want it - well done Northern Beaches!
ReplyDeleteAlso wanted to comment on how bad waiting lists are in Sydney for both detox and rehab! No wonder we don't have the US style intervention industry - you could hold a brilliantly successful intervention and then have no where to send them!! Why is this so...........
ReplyDeleteNAR ANON, AL ANON and FDS are all not in the northern beaches from what i can find so does northern beaches counselling support run support groups or any thing of that nature? We have noticed loads of AA and NA meetings around the area but we are looking for support for our family.
